the Wedding Day Crisis Kit
Don’t leave home without it!

by Stephanie Sheek of Protege Event Planning

It has been my experience in Wedding Planning that packing what I call the Wedding Day Crisis Kit has been invaluable!

My kit is packed in a tough rubbermaid container with an easy access flip top. My kit lives in my car so that I am never caught with out it. You may not need to store this in your car right away but I recommend that you pack it and put it in the car that will be at your wedding site a few days before your wedding.

Why is this so important and just what does it contain?
Let me tell you - this kit has come in handy for groomsmen who forgot their deodorant, (I carry men’s and women’s) no kidding, things like that happen when you’re running out the door.

My kit also contains 35mm film for frantic fathers who forgot to load their camera
-AA batteries for your Auntie Nell who hasn’t used her camera in years and now realizes it is dead
-gum - I wont go into that ..
-bounce sheets for your little sister’s static cling
-string has been a life saver in ways you can’t imagine
-tape (can be applied to mouthy guests)
-pen for your Uncle who forgot to sign his card
-safety pins for everything
-big black marker for making last minute road signs
-Spiderman bandaids for the little people in your life
-wire coat hanger for the unfortunate soul who locked themselves out of their car
-a cake knife
-toothpicks
-Kotex
-lighter
-cork screw
-bottle opener
-clear polish
-Aspirin
-Kleenex and last but not least ..
-white shoe polish for writing "just married "on the back window of your car!
